Test of Emergency Plans
Village of Croton-on-Hudson E-Notice

The Village will be conducting a test of its emergency "Continuity of Operations Plans" tomorrow, December 16th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  On the morning of December 16th, a simulation of a fire event at the Municipal
Building will be held.  As part of this early morning simulated fire event, the Fire Department will shut off access to the building and employees will be directed via the Village's emergency notification system to report to the Harmon Fire House. The Harmon Fire House has been designated as the backup location from which central operations will be directed in the event of an actual emergency which could make the Municipal Building unusable.

Residents who have business to conduct on the morning of December 16th may go to the Harmon Firehouse operations center. The normal business of issuing permits, applications, inquiries, paying fines and bills, etc. will all be done there.  The offices that will be temporarily located to the Harmon Fire House are Management, Clerk, Treasurer; Engineering, Building, Code Enforcement, Recreation, and the Court Office. The Police Dept. will set up at Harmon to answer questions but will maintain their operations at the Municipal Building.

We invite any resident who is interested to come by the Harmon Fire House to view the operations center.  Regular operations will return to the Municipal Building by 1pm on December 16th.
