Tuesday, March 24, 2015:  The Department of Public Works will be performing a water service repair at 225 Grand Street in the Upper Village Business District.  The repair will necessitate the need for a temporary southbound lane closure (i.e. side of road adjacent to Harrison Street Playground) on Grand Street between Wood Road and the Grand Street/Maple Street (NYS Route 129) intersection.  This portion of the southbound lane of Grand Street will be closed beginning at approximately 8:00 AM.  Work is anticipated to last for the duration of the day.  Public Works will accomodate residents within the work zone with access to and from their property.  DPW will also provide temporary Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) controls within the vicinity to ensure safe traffic flow.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Department of Public Works at (914) 271-3775.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Thank you.
Sincerely,

Anthony R. Carr, PE, CFM
Commissioner of Public Works
