        Village of Croton-on-Hudson

        Local Law No.  2 of the year 2002

A local law amending the Croton on Hudson Code by establishing an administrative fee to legalize work done on a property where such work was performed without a required permit or variance.

Be it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the

Village of Croton-on-Hudson as follows:

Section 1.      Section 86-12, Building Permit Fees, is hereby amended with a new Section 86-12, D to read as follows:

        If a person  (a)  files an application for a building permit, or (b) applies to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a variance, to legalize work that was already performed on a property or on a structure or building on such property without a required permit or variance, the applicant shall pay an additional administrative fee of $250 for each such required permit or variance to cover the additional administrative and inspection expenses entailed by such application.  This fee shall be in addition to the regular permit or variance application fee(s) prescribed by this Code.

Section 2.  This Local Law shall be effective upon filing in the office of the Secretary of State.

2.        Question of retaining another environmental firm to review the 1989 Environmental Site Assessment of the Former Sewage Treatment Facility on Municipal Place prepared by Environmental Risk Limited.
